Allbinos.com was right about this one
An incredible view, regardless of price.
The eyepieces have an apparent field of 65 degrees; the binocular shows virtually no pincushion, while correcting fully for field curvature—a given object remains in essentially perfect focus from center to edge of field. This by itself is extremely impressive. Yes, at the very extreme edge, there is a tiny degradation of the image—but the concept of "sweet spot" does not apply to this binocular: the entire field is beautifully sharp. Really, really sharp. This makes the already large field seem even larger somehow.
Glare is very well controlled...

Vanguard Endeavor ED II 10x42
Very happy... Just used for PA whitetail season.
Stepped up from Redfield Rebels.... clearer and brighter at last light.
Would place very close to my friends Vortex viper HD model. Definitely good value.

Can't beat these binoculars for the money
This is the fourth pair of binos I have tried in the past couple of months while searching for the best pair that I could afford. No, I didn't try any of the high end glasses as I wasn't going to buy anything with a price tag over $600-$700. I tried the Nikon Monarch 5, Minox HD, Meopta Meopro, all 8x42 or 8x44, before ordering the Vanguards in 10x42 after the Allbinos review rated them better than the 8x42. None of the first 3 were bad, I just found wasn't 100% satisfied with any one of them and wasn't going to settle for something that didn't completely like. These glasses are well constructed, and the image quality is great. The reviews and comments I read were spot on, and I had an Optics Planet promo code that gave me $20 off. In addition, Vanguard was offering an $80 mail in rebate, so I ended up paying $300. No, they are not perfect, but the only gripe I have is a small amount of slack in the focus wheel, which is not a dealbreaker for me, plus they have a lifetime warranty. I'm keeping'em.
