Most Helpful Positive Review part of package deal
The harness works just like most of this type, but the only thing camo is the small peace on the back, the rest is all black. But it was a buy together deal with the binoculars I bought. If you aren't getting it in a buy together deal, get black. The straps in front are all black in both harnesses. ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Poor choice for high end binocular strap
Sizing is off and will not fit Leupold binoculars. Quality is fair and I would not recommend for use with high end optics. The small strap that came with my Leupold binoculars was of much better quality.

Well Thought Out.

by Dave P., from CA, United States Written on August 31, 2023
The Vangard Optic Guard Binocular Harness is a well thought out addition to anyone who uses binoculars on a daily basis. Although binoculars usually come with a neck harness; after a while it does put strain on your neck; especially if your binoculars have any weight to them. The Vangard Optic Guard Binocular Harness distributes the weight between your shoulders, and back, so it doesn't cause any strain on your neck.

Binocular holder

by Binocular holder. Very sturdy. Very good. Not all is camouflage only material not strapped, from MA, United States Written on September 23, 2020
Too Binocular holder. Very sturdy. Very good. Not all is camouflage only material not straps themselves. But still a very nice product. Would buy again. Thinking of getting a complete holder tho because even with this it shakes on you.

Very Useful

by phantom, from NE, United States Written on November 21, 2016
This harness does exactly what I needed and expected them to do. Good performance at the price point. I'm a little concerned about the durability of the attachment straps where they connect to the Binocs, afraid that they won't last long. If they break or wear out they will be easily Jerry Rigged with Gorilla tape (and probably improved).

When you really need them, and you'll probably use them(more)

by mongoose, Verified Owner from HI, United States Written on March 4, 2016
Carrying optics has always been a chore for me. When you have expensive and fragile equipment, what you don't want is damage. So you pack it or pouch it. Out of sight out of mind. Pun intended. This harness puts the glass tight on chest and out of harms way, hands free. You don't have the weight of the strap on the back of your neck, no dangling into stuff swinging around. It's quick to spot something, let go, and move. I use only a small glass on mine, a M24 Fujinon. You can pull or slide the glass to your liking. When on a low crawl it stays put. Forget a flat crawl. You might want to make release clips or something to remove the glass from the harness anyway as it comes without. Take time to adjust it and practice using it. Good for your kit. Good Luck.

by Greg, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on January 29, 2016
Just what I was looking for. Used these on a recent hunting trip out west and found them to be exactly what I needed to carry my binoculars around. Kept them out if the way and ready when I needed them.

Vanguard Optic Guard Binocular Harness

by Dave, from TX, United States Written on August 15, 2015
This harness works really well for keeping my binoculars held tight against my chest while I'm moving around in the woods. It allows for easy access when I need them the most. I highly recommend this product for hunters, as well as anyone that needs ready access to your optics.
