M16 fixed stock adapter
I used this for about a month long field op as Opfor with old M16’s and it held up to a variety of weather and all the good stuff that comes with being in the field. It helped keep the rifle slung infront of me for quick access to engage targets. It was used fairly hard and kept up with the abuse. Will use it again when in the future I make a M16 clone. Thanks Optics Planet you guys rock!
junk - bad design
I bought 2 , returned one and destroyed the other trying to get it tight …
The plastic tri-glide sits right on the top ridge of the stock the absolute worst spot , its also impossible to get the thing tight around the stock properly, IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
A complete waste of money…

Well made, but poor design for my use.
I bought this to use on an M14/M1A, and it put the D-ring squarely in that pressure point under my jaw. I flipped it over (defeating the purpose of where I wanted the sling positioned), and the buckle was then under my chin. Due to the design of the buckle and the way the velcro feeds through, it constantly gets stuck, making it hard to install, adjust, and take off. It's well made, like all VTAC products, but it didn't work for me. I'd recommend the Blue Force Gear over this.

Perfect option for mounting your sling on A2 stock
This mount was perfect for another mounting position for my mounting my sling. I love the option of attaching this without having to modify my stock permanently. It gives the options of running single, double and even three setups. No to mention it’s modular so you can set it up to your liking.
