Very lite and not very stable.
I bought this and when it came in it was much lighter than the Bushnell PEPR model that I previously bought. I mainly got it due to the 45 angle rail.
I changed the 45 mount so that it was on the left side but then the front lever won't close. So I removed the levers and mounted them to close to the rear instead of the front. Unfortunately the locking mechanisms are difficult to engage with the lever rotated. The whole assembly also did not seem to sit very tight. I attempted to tighten the nut on the right side and it stripped.
My guess is that it is soo lite weight because it is made of cheap aluminum. You will pay a lot more but check out the Cantilever mount by Warne that has two 45 mounts.

Review of Mount
I added this Mount to my M&P15 and it worked like a charm. I removed the scope several times each time the scope was right on again.
It was nice on the initial setup also, I mounted my Vortex Viper PST 1-4 and was only 4 1/2 inches low at 50 yards. 17 click on the scope and I was 8 1//2 MOA higher and right on the Bull. 1/2 MOA grouping with the .223 Round. After 50 shots removed and replaces the QD mount and scope was still right on. Very pleased. For the price this is a great QD 30 mm Mount. Fits nicely over my Iron sites also. Removed the scope, shot the iron sights then put it back. Each time I put the scope back, it was still right on the Bull.
