Gimmicky, but Useable
The first thing I did was remove the "mag pouches" or whatever they were. The buckle is plastic, which was expected, so I replaced it with a good metal cobra latch. The belt itself is great and sturdy, and it does work nicely as a base for a range/gun belt.
Great value!
This 2” gun belt (the description says 2 1/4”) is an excellent belt for the money. The included belt-keepers (4) and the pouches (2) do a decent job of securing the gun belt to your pants belt, but for better security get yourself a hook lined velcro under-belt to mate to the loop lining of this belt. The belt is fairly stiff - like a good gun belt should be - but depending upon your holster it can flex when drawing your weapon.
