I did an extreme function test first thing on this VKTR Industries BCG to see if it was actually legit. Ran it in one of my 556 AR15s that was radically overgassed; throwing cases at 12:30-1:30, averaging at 1:00, insane! Didn't touch anything, left it slamming overgassed, and ran 40rds of 556 to confirm it was still insanely overgassed, yep, was still throwing cases in front of me! And to my amazement and satisfaction the VKTR optimized design of this BCG specifically for 556 actually tamed my wildly overgassed animal by changing out to the VKTR BCG alone and doing nothing else! Great BCG ……
A lot of reviews said this was a complete game changer. Well, I disagree with that for sure…. My rifle was set up for high power competition.. with that said my ejection pattern was definitely a lot more towards the one or 2 o’clock pattern. I do not have an adjustable gas block as it’s not allowed on competition rifles. This BCG definitely helped that and now my pattern is close to 3 o’clock position, which is ideal. I don’t feel a huge difference in the recoil or felt recoil. I definitely would buy it again, but I’m just careful of how I promote stuff.

not bad at all
It came well packaged and on time . Dropped it in and went shooting. Couple of hundred later no complaints. Runs smoothly with no issues whatsoever.

Waist of money/ worst BCG
This BCG is overbuilt. The craftsmanship is fantastic. That being said it completely destroys any buffer system you’re using with it. There’s all sorts of scratching and pitting on the face of the buffer after firing the BCG. Your gun will not cycle correctly. Lastly, you can only get about three 30 round magazines through it before it completely gums up with fouling and carbon. Gas, gas , gas!!!!!What a waste of money.

A work in progress
It came earlier than expected! .I am still building , test fit was great, waiting on barrel for head spacing and adj gas block.

Excellent BCG
Casings noticably eject further and at a different angle as do the gasses. I like that there not some stupid logo visible from the ejection port. Nice drop in upgrade.

Well made BCG...
I had issues with bolt engagement on my BCM MCMR Upper w/Criterion .300BLK barrel. I switched to my VLTOR MUR/Geissele MK4 10" Federal Upper and it mated perfectly. It is pretty heavy. It is not as slick as a JP, or even a KAK BCG, for the $$ NP3 or DLC would've been expected but it doesn’thave any flaws. The bolt tolerances seem a bit loose in the carrier, but the gas rings are tight opposite from my JP BCG's. I swapped in a POF NP3 Roller Cam Pin, OCKS screws & V Seven Ti Firing Pin. I will test it and its cam path geometry before passing judgement but it's a solid choice vs LMT.
