jamestday's Review of Volquartsen Firearms 10/22 22 LR UltraLite Barrel
First thing - freeze the barrel & heat (hairdryer) the receiver - I did this and it slipped right in (no pounding, beating, wiggling..), when everything got to same temp- it was locked in! Just make sure to align the channel w/ the extractor and snug down the V-block quickly. I used a VERY light coat of aluminum based grease for rust prevention and ease of install.
Looks great, perfect fit/finish. Mine is paired with BRN receive & Volquartsen CNC Comp bolt. At 15yards w/ red dot it shoots a single hole for 5 shots. With a good scope I'm sure same results out to 50yrd (will test and update).
If you are doing a light weight build, this is the barrel you want!

- Instruction on install would prevent folks who don't watch Youtube from pounding, beating and sanding to install
