This product is solid and seems high quality. I wish it had two more rails on it, but I think I will get by with it as is. I mounted a Burris RT-5 on it, and it's a bit short for that, one edge of the Burris mount only grabs about half a rail. So I would not recommend this for an optic unless it's something short, like a simple red-dot, or maybe a smaller magnifying optic (I think the Burris RT-3 mount is likely shorter). Also, be aware that the screw is a Torx-type (star head) and fairly small, so you will need to have that tool to mount this. I'm not sure what size Torx head it is, but I think it is a T10 or smaller.
Pros:
- High quality materials
- Ease of installation
Cons:
- Short - but by design!
- Torx screw for mount

This is a nice unit to run a red dot canted on your AR. Good quality. Easy installation.

I have not used the mounts yet. I will be using them for mounting my existing iron sights offset on my AR-15 so I can mount my 3X scope and still have irons. After the first of the year, I'll be mounting them. I'll mount them for use on the left side since I am left-handed. The mounts arrived within a few days, and they look like they will do the job.

Overall product is pretty good. Takes no time to attach to your weapon. Not flimsy or a waste of money. Currently run it on a RECCE build and can’t complain. Fits nicely underneath my scope and doesn’t have any issues.

I bout these Vortex sight mounts to replace the Aim Sport sight mounts. The Aim Sport mounts are to flimsy. The Vortex mounts fit perfectly snug and tight on my AR. Have two for my flip up sights. I have had no wiggling and movement of these mount. They are a perfect replacement for the Aim Sport mounts.

I have a real nice Christensen Arms AR15 with a Vortex Strike Eagle scope. Shoots accurately out to 400yds. Love my set except scope was pretty useless for doing work up close. I am beyond happy with my Vortex Venom Red Dot now mounted up properly. Couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend the offset mount.
Pros:
- Getting on sight quickly.
Cons:
- A bit pricey
- expensive - but worth it
- A tad pricey

Purchased this 45 degree mount for an AR10 build. Quality construction - very well built and is being used for a backup red dot. Mounts to the rail well and it's not loose. I highly recommend this mount!
