Scout scope for Mini-14 with a Hannibal Rail
After multiple attempts at finding an optic for my Mini-14 that kept the low-to-bore alignment, I gave a forward scout scope option a try. And I have to say, rather than burning money on every other alternative, this is perfect. It's comfortable and easy to identify target while maintaining a good check weld to the factory hogue stock.
Medium rings, for those wanting to know. I opted for Warne Maxima Hoizontal quick release rings. This way, worst case and I mess up the scope, the iron sights are accessible without tools.

The scope looks good on the Marlin 1895 SBL 45-70. I used low mount UTG QD high strength rings. The scope installed as far forward as possible, the clarity was excellent and the eye box was better than I expected.

Lever scout
I mounted this onto my r92 16 inch 44 magnum. What a sledgehammer. I had to try different rings to get it just right. Ended up with.88 low on the zon of ama. Super low with about .030 off the skinner pic rail in the back. Looks sharp on that stumpy carbine.

Scout scope on handgun.
I got this scope after seeing it used on handguns. I mounted it on a S&W 44 magnum for deer hunting. It good glass and pretty good eye relief, I can hold the pistol at full arms length up to 4x. I have heard they hold up well to recoil, time will tell as I have only put 30 rounds through it so far. I really like the red dot, especially in low light.

Pistol scope
I wanted to upgrade my old pistol scope due to slowly declining vision. The 5.5 power and illuminated retical of the Crossfire hd was just what I was looking for. The optics are clear. It is easy to aquire the target. I would recommend this scope to anyone looking for good and economical pistol scope.

Great Scout Scope!
I bought this for my Ruger American Gen II Scout. Super happy with the weight, glass, accuracy, and quick sight picture at all magnification levels. Illumination is a bonus. The objective lense is a little thick which made me have to use medium vs low rings but not a problem with the cheek weld riser on the gun. Great price from Optics Planet as well!. I will most likely be replacing my older Hi-Lux scout scope on my M1A Scout Squad with one of these.
