Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Optic

I've had this optic mounted for for about three months. It holds zero, is simple and intuitive to utilize the reticle, and was very easy to mount. The accessories that came with it are a nice touch, and I expect to get years of use out of it. Doubt anyone could be disappointed with this package. ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Great scope, but made in China

Sad to learn that Vortex outsources to China. The scope is fine and works very well, but it's from China. If you don't know how fast your bolts are, you can zero at 40yds then take your best guess at the speed. Do not adjust the elevation for additional yardages. Only adjust the zoom. It works. It's...

Fast shipping, good price, easy setup. Viewing thru the scope is clear as a bell and the lighted reticle is great for low light sighting

Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 SFP XBR-2 MOA Crossbow Scope

by Bud, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on October 6, 2026

Another high quality from Vortex at an affordable price! I researched other products that were much more in terms of price, however this scope met all my requirements that I was looking for deer hunting. I’ve had a good amount of runtime with the scope now and feel very confident in taking a 40-50 yard shot on a deer.

Pros:

Quality
eye relief
Clairity
included accessories

Cons:

none so far

Best Used for:

Deer Hunting

Crossfire 2 crossbow scope

by Grimmy, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on September 3, 2026

I recently replaced my crossbow scope with the Crossfire 2. I am thrilled with the optics. It is crystal clear. It has illuminated reticles that work great. I watched the video on mounting and sighting it in. It recommended the screw torque setting. I purchased an inch pound torque driver. I mounted it on the crossbow and used a level to set the crosshair. By following the instructions, I was able to sight it in dead on in 4 shots. I have never had a scope do that. It is guaranteed for life and worth every penny. It was shipped out immediately and I received it 2 days earlier than my earliest expected delivery date. I am looking forward to using it this upcoming archery season. Great job Optics Planet on your speed, sale price and additional percentage off for a first time buyer, and Vortex for a great product.
Sincerely,
Timothy Grimm

Nice scope but for my eyes the relief was not great. I do recommend it though.

I had been watching multiple sites for a good deal on this scope and optics planet came through. I haven’t used it in the field yet but the reviews are awesome and I like tue vortex brand. I love that the scope came with flip up covers

by Siarhei Zavadski, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on February 24, 2026

Solid, reliable optic with clear glass and a versatile 2–7x zoom range. The XBR-2 MOA reticle is sharp and easy to use for holdovers, and the scope feels rugged and well-built. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included crossbow kit.

Great value for the money — dependable performance, good low-light clarity, and durable construction. Ideal for short to mid-range shooting. Highly recommended if you want quality without overpaying.
