Scout Scope
I purchased this Vortex scope for my new M1a scout rifle. The extended eye relief is perfect for this rifle and I am very pleased with the quality of this product. Using Vortex low mount scope rings gave the proper height clearance although a cheek riser will still be advised for a good cheek weld.

Does not work at lowest magnification.
Between 2x and 2.5x the eye relief goes back to about 20". This is a serious defect since scout scopes are often carried at their lowest magnification. Nice scope, great price.
I have several of the Vortex Scout scopes. On lever guns and Contender pistols. They work great and they're affordable. Also, Vortex customer service is second to none.

Tough as nails!
I have several of these scopes now. I have them on 4570 lever gun. 308 scout rifle and several conter barrels. They're rugged and perform very well. Tthe price point is awesome!

Exactly what i wanted
I needed a scope for my AK-47 to mount on the forward hand grip. After researching about scout scopes, I found this one to be an excellent price point. Once mounted and brought it to the range that I relief was exactly what I needed. Excellent product would recommend

Forward Mounting Optic
I finally had a chance to use my new Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm Scout Scope at the range. I was surprised by the results since I had considered this an economy scope. The eye relief is a dull 10 inches, as mounted on my SA22. This scope exceeded my expectations for an economy optic and the clarity was surprisingly good. This is my first Vortex scope, but I will definitely buy more.

Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm
These are good scopes. This is the second one I purchased. I have one on my 45/70 and I'm going to put this one on my 30-30. These are good scope for types of rifles that are powerful, but not long range. You can place them further down the barrel and get a good sight picture while still seeing your surroundings. I have them mounted on a long steel pictanny rail to accomplish this. I recommend this Vortex scope for these types of guns
