Does not work at lowest magnification. - Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane Scout Rifle Scope

Between 2x and 2.5x the eye relief goes back to about 20". This is a serious defect since scout scopes are often carried at their lowest magnification. One shouldn't have to keep in mind that there is a dead zone in this scope. I understand it's an inexpensive scope, but losing one opportunity in the field is not worth this low cost. Plus it's made in China. I'm new to Vortex and am dumping them die to this experience.
