These are the first real binoculars I have ever purchased. Build quality is great. I have had this pair for two years now and continue to enjoy using them. They have held up very nicely. I took them with me on a trip to 7 national parks out west last year and was very pleased. I also use them for birding locally. Unless you need the absolute best you can't go wrong with these for under $200.

Very well packaged as well as beautifully designed. Comfortable to hold. Great ergonomics. Crisp, clear optics as expected from my previous Vortex purchase. Nice case for storage as well. Look forward to years of use.

Great value for a binocular that compares with my more expensive optics. I purchased for hunting and general use in travels. I enjoy bright, clear, optics that don't break the bank. I give them 5 STARS.

I'm very happy with these Diamondback Binoculars. They are excellent quality with clear optics. I use them for birdwatching and they are comparable to Binoculars costing 10X
more. I might buy another pair for my other home.

I am slowly putting together what I feel are the essentials for the right "Go Bag for my wife and I. I woun't wast your time with the weapons ,etc. so I will get right to the binoculars. I didn't want to spend too much money but yet I wanted good quality in an easy to cary durable binocular. When I saw the Diamond back on sale I made the decision to buy them.
They are easy to hold and adjust. They are light weight and comfortable if you need to wear them on the strap around your neck. The lenses are very good. I can adjust the focus and get a very clear view of what my intended subject or location may be.
I highly recommend them.

Exactly what I expected. Great for 3d shoots. Very clear and lightweight. Great optics for the price and you cant beat the warranty. They make a great back up pair without breaking the bank.I have others that cost double the price and are not even close to the vortex Diamondbacks in clarity
Best Used for:
- 3d shoots and extra pair for the truck

I needed a binocular that was tripod adaptable for an upcoming hunting trip in Colorado. I bought these binoculars because of Vortex reputation and my previous experience with Vortex scopes. These turned out to have some of the clearest optics I have experienced with binoculars. After mounting them on a tripod, I was able to clearly see the annular rings on the end of a recently cut log at over 135 yards. They also just feel solid in my hands. Very favorably impressed.
Pros:
- Light weight, solid, crystal clear vision, adjustable eye cups, intuative controls, tripod adaptable
Cons:
- Eye piece covers not attached to the body.
Best Used for:
- Glassing with or without a tripod

Could not be happier with the purchase. I knew what I wanted to spend and received a better piece of hardware than what I was expecting or even needing for that matter. I used them quite a bit through this past hunting season. My positional confidence has improved and I cannot see myself leaving home without them again.

I was looking for binoculars in the $300 price range and considered these. I first bought a pair of Bushnell Engage 10X42 binoculars. Shortly after, the Vortex Diamondback's price dropped to about a third as much as I paid for the Bushnell Engage. I ordered the Diamondbacks and compared them to the Engage. Both were good binoculars, but the Diamondbacks excelled over the Engage (IMO) except for chromatic aberration. I felt the Engage was only slightly better, but not enough to justify over three times the cost (while both pair's aberration was very, very slight-distinguishable only looking at very bright lamps.) Also, the Bushnell warranty could not compare to the outstanding warranty offered by Vortex. I sent the Engage back and kept the Diamondbacks. The Diamondback binoculars deliver a clear/sharp image, plenty of light, and do not fog. They also have a great focus for close objects and would seem to do well birding. They are more than I need for casual deer hunting on the lease and observing the outdoors. I gave the Diamondbacks five stars because of the incredible value they offered in terms of performance and features at the great sales price I bought them for.
Pros:
- Price
- great warranty
- Good light gathering
- Sharp, clear image
Cons:
- Average weight, not the lightest
Best Used for:
- hunting
- Birding
- Casual observation of the outdoors

Love these. Perfect size for my hunting style. Easy to keep steady and conceal very well. Used them on 4 hunts so far and spotted game that I wouldn't have seen with my old binos. You cant beat the price point in comparison with the other big brands.
Pros:
- Great glass for the price
