Most Helpful Positive Review Another pair of Vortex
These are good binoculars for the money and as good as any binocular out there for under $300. I will admit I am spoiled by a pair of Zeiss 10X40 ( $650 ) binoculars and it is unfair to compare them. These Vortex were purchased for my son's birthday after I had already purchased another exact pa...

Bang for your Buck

by Justin, from TX, United States Written on March 28, 2016
This is a really good product at this price point. Sure there are better binoculars out there but you will be hard pressed to find a quality pair at this price point. They are a little on the heavier side but still comfortable.

Great Value!

by Night Stick, from UT, United States Written on March 9, 2016
I have not had a chance to fully evaluate these Bino's 100% yet but so far I can tell you that they are very clear, very bright, especially in low light conditions. I watched some deer from my front porch a couple of nights ago and kept trading back and forth between my new Vortex Diamondback's and a pair of older Nikon Monarch's, there was no question that these Vortex glasses are at least five times clearer and brighter than my $400 Nikon's.
For the money I don't think you could buy a better clearer set of glasses.

They seem well built

by LH, from TX, United States Written on March 8, 2016
I received these and tested them out of my dirty office window. The seemed sharp and felt well built. I have not had them in the field yet. I intend to use them for deer hunting in West Texas where long shots are likely.

I purchased these do to my eye sight not as good as it once was. I wear glasses and these adjust to them very well.
Very clear to look through. The lifetime guarantee is a great deal. I would recommend these to anyone needing more power.

Superior Product

by Panicfan, from AL, United States Written on January 18, 2016
These are by far the best pair of binoculars that I have ever owned. They were the talk of the hunting camp the first day that I broke them out. I took them to the stand that same day and my 12 year dropped them out of our ladder stand from about 15 feet. I nearly had a heart attack. He climbed down to retrieve them and we were pleased to see that they were still in tact and no harm had been done. I strongly recommend these binoculars to anyone looking for a durable product with great optics.

Not Bad for the money

by Gary K, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on January 11, 2016
Heres the deal. If you can hold off and save just a bit more money cash, get the VIPER version of this. 12x50. These are ok, not real big at all. I got a bargain, they were on sale and I had a coupon so it was worth the try. They are ok. The best at this price point. They are not as good as far as brilliance and clarity, but you get what you pay for. I have several bino's but not one 12x or above for long distance scanning and "truck bino's" scouting etc. They operate as they should the case is awesome. the strap for the bino's is good. eye cups that screw out are great. they could have put a lock on the right eye dioper adjustment ring. The Viper has that feature I think. All in all for 178.00! I can't go wrong. I seen some Nikon's 12x42 that I would have probably bought instead. the phase 3 or pro staff 7's they seemed a bit better and were around 300.00 or so. These are ok, that's all. not up to the great Vortex reputation though. the Diamondback line is made in china. I hope that 41-16 HP scope I ordered is better than these bino's!! those will go back if not. nuff said.

Great Value

by Rudy, from UT, United States Written on January 6, 2016
I have the 10x versions of these and have abused them for the last 2 years pdog hunting and they are still holding up. The 12x are a little bigger, but they have really good glass for the money. I am looking forward to having a little more power for the longer shots.

by Tim, from ID, United States Written on January 1, 2016
very nice quality. Have used more expensive, but not better. I hunt a lot of wide open areas, I couldn't wait to get my own, so I could have some like my hunting partner. I have used them in low light and daylight, bright snow and dark wooded areas, they perform great.
