Excellent Scope
All the crying reviews about how bright the crosshairs are in broad daylight. Guess what, you only need an illuminated reticle in low light conditions. This scope is clear and the etched reticle works just fine for shooting into the sun. Excellent value for the money.

Buy once cry once, I should have stuck with my gut this optic sucks compared to the other options. If it was brighter my review would be completely different. Great scope, good price
Bought this scope for a short to medium range deer rifle. Large field of view for quick acquisition of target. Very clear and like the lighted dot. arrived in a reasonable time.

Great scope, wierd color
As for the quality of this scope, there's not much to be said. I mean it's a vortex! Great clarity, solid construction, and VERY precise zeroing adjustments! Now the reason for three stars. First, out of the box the eye piece has a small half moon shaped scratch in the coating. Probably due to some mishandling during packaging. But the major issue is this color! It's literally it's own thing. Im a FDE fanatic, my ARP is accented in this color! It doesn't come close to matching FDE and is even a few shades off from coyote brown. Other places sell the HD version of this for only 20 bucks more than I paid here. The reason I chose optics planet, was for the special edition color, which is a huge disappointment! I probably wouldn't recommend this product.

I liked the Opmod so much, I bought a second scope. One Opmod is mounted on my 416 Rigby and the second on my 375 H&H Dangerous Game Rifles. Both scopes have withstood heavy recoil and have not most zero since mounted. What can I say more????? Vortex makes a fine quality scope for a very resonable Optics Planet Price. Thank you Vortex and Optics Planet!!!!

I have two of these Vortex scopes. The first is mounted on A thompson Encore 416 Rigby and is tried an true. Great eye relief and withstands heavy safari calibers. I liked the first so much I bought a second Opmod for my 375 H& H. It's setup for Dangerous game and plan to hunt Cape Buffalo in 2027, I expect it will stand up to all of the reloading test rounds just like the first Opmod did.

Good budget optic
Haven't used it in the field yet but its all mounted up. Seems to be a great optic everything works as it should all the dials magnification turret caps. Good fit and finish. Nice you can go from off to 11 for the illuminated reticle directly without having to go from 1 up. On a brite day you're gonna want to have that on pretty high I would imagine. Glass is clear. I put it on a CVA Scout in 45-70 with Leupold medium rings and sits on there perfect. Good stuff from Optics Planet they always deliver and for great prices

bear hunting gun
I bought this low power scope for my new bear gun a Rossi R95 lever action in 45/70. It's a great scope extremely clear optics. I also like the Lighted reticle dot. This is my first Vortex Scope and am very pleased with it so far. We'll see how it holds up to the recoil from the 45/70 rounds.
