Excellent Scope
All the crying reviews about how bright the crosshairs are in broad daylight. Guess what, you only need an illuminated reticle in low light conditions. This scope is clear and the etched reticle works just fine for shooting into the sun. Excellent value for the money.

Buy once cry once, I should have stuck with my gut this optic sucks compared to the other options. If it was brighter my review would be completely different. Nice scope
Seems to work good and stay zeroed. Only complaint is it's not what I would call FDE or at least it's not what other companies use for the color. More of a bronze.

Good for brush gun
Excellent scope for use on a short-range brush gun or lever action. Optics are clear and bright, and the illuminated reticle is great. My only complaint is: why the 1/2 MOA click adjustments...why not 1/4 MOA like most every other scope on the market? 1/2 MOA clicks just too much latitude for dialing in.

Been a Vortex fan fan for years.
Bought this scope for my Henry Big Boy 44 Mag. Had another one I put on my 450 BM AR I built (except in 1-6X). When I saw the sale I thought, “perfect 1-4x for 44 carbine, lit reticle dot if needed, long eye relief, no interference with cocking hammer with my thumb”, just the ticket. Also thought in FDE color it would go nice with the Brass frame on the rifle. Add FDE flip up scope covers and FDE rings. Had it out to the range yesterday and it really did the job. Scope reticle was perfect for stretching distance of the 44 mag hitting steel plates out to 200 yards and didn’t cover up the target view. Highly recommend this scope and any Vortex product. Had one problem 15 years ago on one of their scopes, was sent a brand new scope fast and no questions. Pretty good since I own about 12 Vortex products. Highly recommend their products.

Great overall scope for all around shooting. Vortex has the best customer service I have encountered.
