The mount itself is pretty heavy but works fine. It will hold your optic, but the look of this mount is absolutely horrid.

Vortex OPMOD Sport Cantilever Riflescope Mount
I will start by saying I had bought another mount that is unavailable now (wonder why) because the fitment was so bad it is nothing but a paper weight Viridian OPMOD One Piece Offset Rifle Scope Mount for Picatinny Mount. Now moving to this mount I will say it is a little heavy but nothing crazy, although debatable. On a light weight .22LR it is nice to add a little weight I'm using it on a Rosi RS22 (squirrel hunting). It fits like a glove looks good and matches good with the Crossfire II 1-4x24 Riflescope. If you are on the fence grab one while on sale.

Vortex Opmod one piece scope mount
The Vortex Opmod scope mount works perfect on my rifle. Ring alignment is true and rings torque down consistently. The tan color fits well with the color scheme of my rifle as well. Very nice one piece scope mount.

Works as should, good price, and quick shipping.
Price was good (on sale) and shipping was fast. Purchased for mounting scope on a 6mm ARC build for mid & Long Range. Only potential issue with mount is that it only has one lug in middle that engages with Pic rail. 6mm ARC is very low recoil even with heavier bullets and max loads so shouldn't be an issue. Has worked great and provides enough clearance for a 56 mm front objective bell when mounted on an AR platform. Have several Vortex scopes and mounts - all good products.
