Most Helpful Positive Review very well made
I first bought a pair of Leupold Yosemite in 8x30. I compared the Raptors and Yosemite in store. The Yosemites seemed slightly brighter and more crisp inside the store so I bought them. After bringing them home I realized the build quality wasn't very good. The left eye cup was gritty and "clunky" and the right eye cup was so loose it would fall down during use, also the focus was gritty. So I returned them for the Raptors. Crystal clear

I'm by no means a professional in optics but I know enough to get by. These vortex raptor 8.5x32 are insane! Crystal clear magnification. I was deciding between these the 10x version of these, and the vortex 10x42. I'm glad I went with these considering how portable they are and downright impressive. Well worth the 100 bucks. I'm now a fan of vortex

  • Exceptionally crisp
Cons:
  • A touch bigger exit pupil could help but still a great pair of portable binoculars
Best Used for:
  • Portable binoculars that could be used for just about any scenerio

Can not be beat for the price.

I have used many binoculars through the years and have found the Raptors to perform with the more expensive binoculars. They are holding up to some heavy us without any problems. For the money one can not go wrong.
Pros:
  • Built tough. Great view.
Cons:
  • Can not find any so far

Best Used for:
  • birding, hunting
  • Birding and all viwing of outdoor nature activities
