Very nice product. Purchased for my own wise seven PRC and she likes the scope and the radical. We took all a night for us 5 x 22 x 50 mainly for the radical change.

Wow! The clarity is amazing, and the weight (or lack there of) is incredible, I thought the box was empty!

This is a very light weight hunting scope with more magnification range than most "hunting" scopes offer and exceptionally clear glass, that really IS worthy of the "Razor" name. I think i saw a review that said the glass wasn't up to par. I have no idea what in the world that reviewer is talking about. I own NF ATACR, Steiner, Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS 2, Burris and Vortex Razor and this LHT Razor has EXCEPTIONAL glass quality. Like i said in the beginning, it is very, very light as well. That's about where i'll stop praising it though. I mean capped turrets are kind of a must for hunting so i'll give it that but the reticle is very thin/fine to the point of being a little difficult to find, especially with a dark background. This is NOT a tactical scope !! Reticle is way too fine for that, meaning if you have to make fast transitions, this reticle will not serve you well but it will for stationary targets. Also, while it may not be "flimsy" it kind of FEELS that way. As in, if i fall and this lands on boulder... i think i'm going to be screwed kind of a feeling. I don't feel that way with a NF ATACR. Also, as many others on a military site i belong to have said, the illumination mechanism is "chincy". I'll take the weight savings over robustness for this kind of hunting optic, as i understand the trade off and its benefit. I also love the price, especially when on sale... but the illumination mechanism is really lame IMHO. If you're shooting at dusk or dawn you will likel...

Shipping was quick and the scope works perfectly. Small hiccup with the damaged packaging but they made it right. All in all positive experience

I have one on my rifle for 3 years now and I think it’s a really good scope and light weight too.

Very satisfied with my purchase. I looked through the Nightforce 2.5x20 and this Vortex at Bass Pro. Both of the Scopes looked great, but the Vortex Razor LHT 4.5x22 really stood out to me with the Field of View as well as the eye relief. I believe both options would be great ones, but after looking through both it was hard to pass up the Vortex at nearly 1000$ less.

I put this optic on my MPR 6.5prc with Vortex precision high mount rings on picatinny rail. It's great clarity and will give you the ability to reach out and touch something 1000 yards no problem. The price and quality are hard to beat for what it competes against. Other optics that would be double it's price this will beat or be on par with those in many ways, especially Vortex warranty hard to beat.
Pros:
- Clear glass, picks up well in low light, illumination works well
Best Used for:
- Hunting, long distance shooting

I spent my entire adult life carrying a long-gun for work, and as I advance in age, weight has become a greater consideration for me while hunting. I entered my search for an upgraded optic for my .300 WinMag big game rifle, with the 3-15x, SFP cousin of this Razor, but also considered Schmidt and Bender, Night Force, Leupold, Leica and others. Even though my budget wasn't totally unlimited, I shopped as if it was, and the Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x ended up being the optimal choice based on the vectors of price, weight and performance. Price was easy because Optics Planet just crushed everyone else (even the pro deal I get from Vortex!). Importantly, all the other optics that I considered were very nice (read very capable), but this Razor was literally a half pound or more lighter than the others I considered. If you hunt in an environment like I do (Rocky Mountains) ounces are pounds, I couldn't justify the increase in weight for the marginal increases in performance of the other considered optics. This combined with the low probability that I would take a 1300m+ (see "age" above) shot on an animal lead me to what I believe is THE optimal solution for my hunts, the Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x.
Best Used for:
- Hunting and target long range

Just got the Vortex razor and vortex precision rings mounted on my 6.5 creedmoor and couldn’t be more pleased with how well the combo fits and really surprised at the weight savings compared to my previous setup. Haven’t had a chance to try it yet but I feel confident that it will be worth the price.
Pros:
- Looks and feels great

This is my new favorite scope. For the record I have never spent more than $500 on a scope so this is a significant increase in cost for me. The cost increase does come with features that I feel are worth it. The scope is lightweight, 22X zoom and FFP. This is the most I've ever spent on a scope, and I have no buyers remorse.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- magnification range
- Generous eyebox
