Another quality build and glass from Vortex. Impressed with the clarity and accessories that came with the optic.
I’ve only had the monocular for a couple weeks but am very happy with my purchase.

I have not used optic on a hunt yet. It is a simple easy to use optic with good but not great glass. It has a range estimation reticle that is simple to use (if you like doing math in the field). The tripood mount is on the side which seems weird - but I will give it a try. The focus ring moves very fast - so it will take some experience to get good with that part. 15x is tough to hold steady - but that is expected. It weighs 15oz and will be much more compact than a traditional set of 15X binoculars. I have one eye - so this makes sense for me.

Bright, clear, portable, powerful and quick to range. I got these to replace my 9x40 binoculars and wanted greater magnification and less bulk. This checks the blocks plus has unobtrusive a mil dot and silhouette ranging reticle

I am very pleased with this purchase. I've been on the fence as to whether or not I should buy this for years and then I finally push the button. I am not disappointed at all. The price point is fair although getting it a little bit off was worth it. I am very happy with the clarity of the glass and construction. You can tell that Vortex put time in to the design and process of this monocular. The reticle def helps with gauging distance. I am very happy and satisfied with this and I'd def recommend to anyone who wants to use as a ranging and spotting monocular but doesn't want to have something big and heavy on them. It's def good out to 500m. More if you know what you're doing.
Pros:
- great glass
- Ease of use and high resolution
- contstruction
Cons:
- Carrying case could use improvement

I can't find anything bad about this product, Vortex creates another winner! At 15x it is a little hard to instantly acquire your target and steadying on a tripod would be advisable. Thank you Vortex, and Optics Planet for making them available.
Pros:
- small and powerful
- easily focused for closer targets
Cons:
- Price (but honestly, pretty cheap price considering the quality).

This monocular is carriable being about half the size of a large binocular. Great ranging reticle. Sadly, Vortex no longer offers a ranging reticle on their spotting scopes and their monocular line is all they offer. I opted for the 15 power which needs to be braced for a stable image. I use it on a small tripod. The tripod mount on this unit is 90 degrees off of the preferred orientation for the reticle. Vortex provides a 90 degree adaptor but stability suffered so I just use the reticle canted 90. A tripod thread on the bottom of this monocular would be an awesome improvement. The image is great. Overall, a good value. I am doing target shooting. For hunting the 10 power is probably better suited but I would also look at the Optolyth 10 X 28.

FANTASTIC Scope!!! Easy adjustments, Really super clear optics, Fits the hand well, Eye cut fits well with or without my glasses, I find it balanced, and most important, this looks cool. Oh yea, when used as a telescope, I didn't notice the range finder marking getting in the way.
Pros:
- balanced, perfect hand size, super clear optics
Cons:
- smelly rubber parts - air out for a day
Best Used for:
- astronomy so far, not enough time (6 days) to test everywhere yet
