3-18X44. The perfect fit for a hunting rifle.
I had a Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 on a Christiansen Rigeline 6.5 PRC. It’s a great scope, but just a little heavy and big for this gun. I just put on the new 3-18X 44 Strike Eagle and it’s a much better fit to the gun. As always Vortex quality is great and you can’t beat their customer service and warranty. This is my ninth Vortex optic. What more can I say.
great scope
Clear and easy to set up. I love the upgraded features that you get from the strike eagle

solid scope, excellent glass!
This is a very solid scope, with outstanding glass clarity and low light performance rivaling 50+mm objectives.
The reticle illumination is also very bright, almost daylight bright.
The 34mm tube gives a wide range of elevation adjustment.
The zero stop works well, but be aware that it allows 5 clicks below zero. I found that annoying at first, but it’s actually quite useful if you run a 50/200 zero and want to dial for 100.
The only real downside is that it’s quite heavy.

Just Right
I bought this for my AR 308 to allow some close in engagement while still having the ability to reach out when needed. This optic and its magnification range hit the sweet spot. The glass is crisp; the eye relief is good, and everything just works as you'd expect for this Vortex at this price point. Very happy with it and it's a keeper.

Vortex Strike Eagle
Fantastic scope, very clear, illuminated reticle helps in low light. I really like the reticle, allows for quick changes without having to turret adjust.

Strike Eagles
I have several first gen Strike Eagle scopes. This one is clear appears easy to use especially with 25 MOA in one rotation. I wish it came with in additional reticles.

My new favorite glass
I spoke with a Vortex rep recently at a show and he explained how my previous favorite, the Viper PST Gen II was not as good as this new optic for hunting. I prefer a First Focal Plane optic for hunting. He told me about this model. Biggest difference is the locking turrets. It was at a great price on OpticsPlanet so I bought it. Out of the box, stellar. Great glass. Zeroed very quickly on my new 6mm ARC build. Liked it so much I bought the exact same set up for a new Bergara 300 Win Mag!
