Most Helpful Positive Review Vortex Holograhic sight cover adds serius protective to the best holographic sight in the industry
Vortex makes one if the best holograhic sights and with the optional cover it is better. Optics Planet makes it better by offering the optional cover plus their very competitive pricing and the best customer service. Product was delayed because of support chain issues, but I was kept informed by Optics Planet's customer service reps.

What is this cover actually supposed to fit?

Can't figure out what this cover fits. It sure didn't fit my AMG-UH1. Can't use it...does not fit. Actually...for what the sight costs..this cover..or at least a cover that fits the sight should come with the sight.

VERY poor design.

Shouldn't have to struggle to install this cover. And when I say struggle...you have no idea what it takes for me to get this thing installed,and that's with the sight off the weapon. Instalation with the sight on the weapon is actually tougher.
Pros:
  • Once on...it's only. It will afford minimum protection for minor bumps and abrasion.
Cons:
  • You will struggle with this cover to install. Eventually it will fail from over stretching the elastic stitching around the opening.
Best Used for:
  • Sight long term storage off of the weapon.
  • Long term storage with the sight off of the weapon.

You already spent the $600 plus on the Vortex AMG, whats a another $19? This is of great quality and will protect your "investment". So please do yourself a favor and take care of your stuff, buy this! Its definitely a must have.

Cover works great!! Fits

This cover fits my razor great thought it would fly off in heavy wind but no stays on. just enough protection for my red-dot sight. I would have preferred a more stiff cover but this one is light and will not crack or wear out as quick I think.
