Most Helpful Negative Review Does not fit my Strike Eagle 1-6x
The part itself is nothing short of Vortex high standards. It just doesnt fit my Strike Eagle 1-6x like i read it should. The notch is bigger than the hump on the magnification ring so the throw lever has a good amount of movement before it catches so it also wants to slide forward and back.

Vortex throw lever awesome product

This piece is made of super good metal and conforms directly to the scope as needed with a little bit of play on the set screw and works wonderful I highly recommend this for faster focal to zoom in and zoom out

  • I use it on all models of my vortex scopes from a razor to a strike eagle to a PST Gen 2 all the way down to a VHS

Ease of use

This product is a little pricey, but is really easy to install and super easy to use. It makes adjusting my Vortex scope so easy as compared to without it. I like it. I found using my scope was frustrating to focus, but this lets me bring objects into focus with pin point accuracy.

Vortex switchview sv-4 throw lever

Only used it once but it seems to work very well I had a polymer one before that would loosen up And the bolts stripped out this one is made of metal much better And thinner and it doesn’t hang out too far looks good on the scope yes I would recommend this to my friends

Awesome addition

This really takes the low power variable optic from a fun range optic, to a combat or competition usable option. This lever is very simple and feels sturdy. This lever makes it so much easier to operate the zoom of the scope by useing an open palm, instead of grabbing the adjustable ring

Fits exactly

This throw lever fit exactly as I wanted. It was easy to install and made adjusting my Vortex scope variable power very easy. Now that I know the position I can adjust it on the move when shooting three gun competitions. I would for sure buy another one when I buy my next Vortex scope

Very nice quality, a perfect fit, easy to install (much easier than I expected after reading the instructions), wish I had purchased this when I first got my scope! Makes it very easy to adjust zoom, no need to take your eyes off the scope.

Vortex SV-4 Throw Lever

If you have any scope, you need a throw lever. It makes going up and down on the magnification so easy. Vortex makes a great product just for this. Very good quality, and design. Very sturdy, so you won't get metal fatigue and have it break, after so many rotations on the up and down magnification. Con on this is that I think its very pricey at $50.00. It would be a much better value around the $30.00 range.
Over all i do recommend the product.

  • Costs way to much.
Best Used for:
  • If your doing a lot of long range shooting or use of a scope on a rifle.

Throw lever

I have a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 scope. The zoom is a bit on the stiff side making it dificult to adjust especially if trying to adjust while looking through the scope. I put this on my Vortex Strike eagle 1-8x24 scope and it works and looks great. A bit pricey but considering what I was finding for less I thought this was still the best buy. I also have a Vortex Viper 1-6 X 24. I will be looking for one of these throw levers for it as well.

Best Used for:
  • Any place you intend to use your scope

SV-4 Throw lever

Simple but great product. Put it on my Vortex strike eagle 1-8 scope. Make adjusting the zoom much easier as the zoom adjustment is very stiff on that scope. A little pricey but its well made, looks great, and works well.
