Great torque!
This is a great torque wrench for the job! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality tool! I bought a cheaper wrench and ended up returning it for the Vortex. It also has all the bits needed included in the kit.

Not Impressed
This is well-built and calibrated, but only goes up to 50 inch pounds. That clearly isn't enough for applications that require 55-65 inch-pounds, such as many precision scope bases. My included torx bit also stripped during a 45-50 inch pound install, causing an issue with an 8-40 screw. For ring...

I use torque specs for everything
Sure, a fastener can be tightened down at whatever you think it needs to be, but I like having all of mine torqued to the manufacturer specification which this tool helps accomplish.

I have used this driver on my two newest optics and it was a pleasure to use . Easy adjustment , all driver tips I needed were included, and the case is robust and keeps the driver well protected . Highly recommend.

A must have tool
Purchased the Vortex torque screwdriver to mount rings and scopes on a couple of rifles. Setting the torque level is extremely easy and the breakaway function gives you a positive indication the torque level has been reached. Common driver tips were included that worked with everything I was mounting. The case the tool comes in is interesting but unfortunately does not have individual storage for the driver tips. Perhaps a conventional type case would be better suited for the price.

This is a very good product for the price. If you're on a little bit of a budget. I would definitely recommend this.

Vortex Scope Kit - All You Need!
This set has everything you could need for mounting your scope and more! The driver feels solid and well-made, and the grip feels good in the hand and is grippy (i.e., my hand didn't slip).
This driver is all very well designed. A friend of mine has the Real Avid torque driver, and I noticed when trying to use it, that the torque-setting dial is right in the way of your grip, such that I kept accidentally turning it when I was trying to use the driver. You'll have none of that nonsense here! The gold collar locks your setting in place and is well out of the way of your hand while driving fasteners.
This is a quality set for a decent price.
