I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time behind the Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50 FFP, and it has exceeded my expectations. The glass is exceptionally clear with outstanding edge-to-edge clarity, making it easy to spot impacts and identify targets even in less-than-ideal lighting. The first focal plane reticle is easy to use throughout the magnification range, and the turrets provide crisp, positive clicks that track exactly as they should.

For the price, it’s hard to find a scope that offers this level of optical quality, reliable tracking, and overall build quality. Whether you’re shooting long range, competing, or stretching the legs of a precision hunting rifle, this optic delivers. Vortex’s lifetime warranty is another huge plus and gives you confidence that the scope is built to last. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium optic without spending top-tier money.

Great clarity at long range and a lighter scope. Turret clicks are crisp. Not a bulky looking scope.

I definitely made the right purchase. Its perfectly suited for my set-up and the price was very reasonable as well. Vortex is also known for a rock solid warranty,so it's a win/win situation.

This one is really good for its price. Unless you want to spend double this will work well for FFP and 25x. The vortex viper line I don't feel you can go wrong buying. Clarity is good.

Great scope, clear, and magnification is great. Shipping for me was about a week. using for my heavier hunting rifle. Best price I found across all other website by $100.

At the price point that I like to stay under for my hunting scopes (under $1k), it's hard to beat the Vortex Viper series of scopes. They have great glass that provide exceptional clarity as you try to squeeze in 5 minutes of early or late light. This Viper HD is my favorite so far. I can easily get on target and with the 25x zoom I can reach out several hundred yards. The experience with OP is always great and the sitewide sale actually applied to Vortex scopes this time! That was a win as it saved an additional $95!

Been trying to find a good scope for the B14 HMR in 308. This thing was exactly what it needs. Usable at 5x all the way through 25x . Reticle is perfect. Glass is excellent. Balances perfectly on the rifle. I don’t know about durability but hopefully never find out. At least vortex has a great warranty
