Viper HS-T 4-16x44

Great all around scope. I put it on a 6.5 Creedmoor and is the perfect combination. The glass is clear and able to hunt in the low light, last minute conditions. I would recommend this scope to others.

Vortex Viper HST 4-16x44 MOA

Second purchase of this scope. This one for my AR chambered in 350 Legend. Other rifle is bolt action 30-06. Really like the simplicity of use and the various reticle options. Top and side dial knobs allow for easy siting, spot on at 100 yards after a half dozen or so shots. Have not used it in the field yet but will this season. Vortex is a very high quality brand without the price. I also have a Leopold and would choose Vortex again.

Good Glass

The clarity and light transmission are excellent. Bought this for hunting but wanted something I could bench as well to shoot distance. Sighting in was easy was within 2" on paper at 25yds. Great glass on this scope.

I cannot think of any cons other than the price. But when you think about the quality and versatility of it for various distances, it’s hard to be too upset about the price. It did not say it came with shims, but it did.

Excellent scope

Nearest thing to pst, without illumination. Reticle perfect, glass is perfect, reticle is outstanding. This scope is sure a winner mounted to anything. Would lube to try out both versions of this scope.

Great Optic and Clarity, One Drawback

The clarity and light transmission are excellent. Bought this for hunting but wanted something I could bench as well to shoot distance. Sighting in was easy was within 2" on paper at 25yds first shot by boresighting. Clicks continued to move precisely my point of impact as I sighted in. For the money this is hard to beat. Although coming from traditionally hunting rifles and typically a Duplex Retical or something similiar I will say the thin lines are hard to see in low light. I am worried about having an opportunity on an elk in timber at low light conditions.

Nice unit for the money, clear, nice reticle, compares to my Nightforce I paid a lot for , great for general all around shooting , Haven't tried over 500 Yd yet , but looks solid hits out to there , will try more Vortex on my next close up gun ,,and ,,, Planet Optics rates pretty well too, for delivery and pricing ,,,Im good,,,
