Like everyone, you read review after review hoping to make a good choice. Experienced shooter, but built my first long range rifle and put this one it. Was not disappointed with this scope. First Vortex, will not be the last.

Good value at price point. Quick delivery. Great warranty, solid performance. My wife likes the darrk black color, goes well with the gun. Would recommend for other dark colored rifles that others might own

Excellent scope. Love the quality and clarity. Love the illuminated cross hair. Helps you see way better. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a scope. Plan on getting another in the future. Have order other Vortex scope but by far this is the best one for me.

I couldn’t believe it when a viper pst was on sale at %47 off and then free shipping was offered as well, I saved $499 dollars in that purchase. I really love this scope and wish they weren’t being discontinued. I have a difficult time not feeling as if these are being discontinued simply to eliminate some cheaper options that perform so well and also carry Vortex’s awesome warranty. Hopefully the prices in their newer models will come down after they have been out for awhile. Would definitely buy again!

I had heard a lot of guys talking about the Vortex scopes for awhile now. Always been a Leupold man but decided to try them out. Very nice glass and setup for the price I paid. Highest power seems a little stretch for clarity, but I have nothing else in that power to compare it to either. Would’ve had to spend a lot more to compare to other models.

This scope has replaced a Zeiss Conquest 4x15x50 on my Les Baer AR-15. I cannot fault the Zeiss scope, but wanted the magnification of 24 power. The Vortex Viper seems to be at least equal to, if not higher in quality than the Zeiss, but at a much lower price. The EBR-1 reticle is superior to the ordinary fine crosshairs that are on my Zeiss scope, and the Rangefinding feature of the EBR-1 reticle is a nice feature that seems to work well. I think highly of the Zeiss Conquest scope, but consider the Vortex to be of similar quality and better value. If ordering this scope, be certain that you know the difference between 1st and 2nd Focal Plane, and select the one that suites your purpose. There is a huge difference. I have the 2nd FP, which I believe is what most people are familiar with. Both Zeiss and Vortex offer excellent customer service. I highly recommend the Vortex Viper scope.

Very clear and tracks well. Using the spacers to adjust back to zero work great. Very solid design. The turrets are rock solid. I have it mounted to a 300 win mag and works perfectly. The quality is as good if not better than higher priced scopes. I will stick with Vortex.

I have looked through rifle scopes that cost 2x as much as the Viper PST 6-24x50mm. I did not see any difference in quality. The Viper PST has very clear glass and the dials have very smooth clicks.
I did purchase a switchview throw lever to help with the stiff magnification transitions.

This scope is clear at every magnification. I have other Nikon and Leupold scopes that do not compare. I will never buy another scope that is not a Vortex! Optics Planet's customer service is top notch...thanks for the great service!
