Great improvement over gen - Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15x44mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube ,First Focal Plane (FFP)

I have a Gen I Viper PST 6-24X50 and it is a pretty good scope but the Gen II is light years better. The glass is much improved, the turrets and zero stop are also better. One thing I find that's a great improvement is that the Gen II has a much larger eye box.It's much easier to find that sweet spot behind the scope. The reticle has excellent contrast and is very easy to stay focused on without eyestrain.The Gen II is also better looking especially the eyepiece that no longer has the big illumination control sticking up. The illumination is daylight visible on high. I purchased this to replace a Burris XTR II 2-10X42 on my POF 308. The Burris was OK but I did not like the first focal plane SCR reticle. The PST Gen II is much better than the Burris or the PST Gen II. I will be buying another soon to replace my Gen I PST.
