This is actually my first set of electronic earmuffs and I find them really useful, especially to hear voices with a set of muffs on your head. I appreciate the simplicity and the price was not that bad. I would recommend this product to anyone especially entry-level shooters.

I have another set of these muffs that I just replaced the ear pads on and I will keep these for guests and for backup. I need hearing aids when not shooting so I need a considerable amount of clear amplification from muffs. These are not as clear as the hearing aids but still do the job better than any others I've tried. I especially like the quad front-and-back microphone setup, I used to have to turn a set of directional muffs around to hear range commands from behind me and these provide 360-degree coverage. I also like that they use simple, easy to find AAA batteries rather than oddball power cells. Each side is powered separately so they don't have to be connected by an easily damaged wire. The muffs have a slim enough design for use with rifles and shotguns without touching the stocks. I've been using these for almost 10 years and am completely satisfied with them.
I found the best price available at Optics Planet and they were delivered promptly in perfect condition. I have also bought red dot sights and laser grips from Optics Planet at the best prices I could find and I recommend them as a great source.

I've had plenty of Walkers electronic muffs and quite familiar with them. They generally work well at keeping the noise to hearing safe levels but microphones their microphones help little with hearing enhancement.

You'd think these quad mic muffs would be the solution. It's a good idea but poorly designed. The quad muffs do provide a little better directional sound detection but it's not much better than their their std muffs.

The biggest areas where they fail are microphone sensitivity and background noise reduction. These 2 areas are especially important for hunting or anyone looking for hearing enhancement at the range. Conversation on windy days or with other background noise is difficult. Hunters looking for enhanced hearing should look elsewhere. Bottom line is that noise cancellation technology has been around for decades - Walkers needs to use it. More sensitive mics have been around for even longer. People want super levels of hearing without the amplified background noise.

I ordered these to restrict the loud sounds.
I wear hearing aids so with the headset on I wasn’t sure if I would be able to hear anyone around me. To my surprise they worked fantastic both in restricting the noise but I can hear everyone. The great part is they are adjustable for hearing on each ear. Great product

Great product. Work as expected for turkey hunting. Just don't wear in the portable blind when raining. Rain drops sound like firecrackers. Comfortable to wear. Easy to use. Great value from Optics Planet. Fast shipping and GREAT service from Optic Planet as always. Thanks again!

These are great for doing what I do, and that is firearm instruction and CCDW classes. The shutdown time is everything I would want and the enhanced hearing is perfect for my ability to hear on the firing line. I would have given 5 stars if they had been as slim as they appeared to be in the picture description. I cannot get a good cheek weld with my AR and that is actually why I bought them.

A friend recommended these to me and I try for a short time and I had to get. optics planet-had the best price I could find and has always provided superior service.Has excellent quality and is very easy to use Great earmuffs you can hear everything around you it does take a little while to get used to the direction sound is coming from but I highly recommend these plus helps keep your ears warm also very comfortable I wore for five hours straight and never felt any discomfort

THESE MUFFS HAVE GREAT NOISE REDUCTION CAPABILITIES AND ALSO GREAT NOISE AMPLIFICATION CAPABILITIES. THEY MUFFLE LOUD NOISES AND LET YOU EASILY SET THEM TO HEAR NORMAL CONVERSATIONS OR GAME MOVEMENTS. THEY ARE LIGHT AND EASY TO CARRY ON THE HUNT. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEM, THE ONLY PROBLEM BEING THAT THEY WERE STIFF WHEN RECEIVED AND REQUITED A LITTLE EFFORT TO ADJUST FOR COMFORT.

I have had several electronic noise suppressors and they never preformed like these.......

I would recommend these to anyone who shoots at the range o out in the woods for the hunt!!!
