Definition of secure
I did some research on mounts and landed on this one. I am extremely happy with my decision. People may like counting half ounces and all that junk, but my priority with scopes is that they are secure. When you put this on and get your scope setup in it, there is no question that it is secure. I have full confidence that my scope will stay true in this mount unless it’s involved in some type of disastrous event.

Works well for me
Can’t speak for how well it works on a heavy recoiling rifle, but I’m happy with it. Mounted on a 224 Valkyrie AR15 and put more than 600 rounds through it. Rifle smacks steel at 1,000 yards away so apparently it’s working in my application.

A Cadillac of a mount
I’ve had this over two years on a Ruger SR-556VT with a Vortex Viper PST Gen2 5-25 x 50mm. I purchased this particular cantilever mount because offered the 20 moa cant, has a long reach forward (which I believe helps in mounting a rather large scope on an AR to keep your LOP from getting too long) but not all of the scope touch points forward of the rifle touch points (this has to be a stronger design), and the quality of the picatinny clamping mechanism. It is pricy, but nice things are not cheap. I have not done any of the attached accessories; I have considered the levels but don’t like the designs that I have seen.

Great looking mount
Haven’t taken it to the range yet but but the craftsmanship is exactly what you would expect from Warne. Very sturdy. Great fit and finish. This is not my first warne mount and expect nothing solid results. Looking forward to many years of use.
