Failure to function
Mounted this sight on my Ruger 22/45 pistol. Seems well built, cycles through all settings, mounted easily. On the first shot, it turned off. Turned it back on, next shot, same failure. This sight simply could not function after suffering the "extreme" recoil of a standard velocity .22 LR round ...

Weaver Micro
Nice little site. Holds a zero. Too bad the mounting system isn't. Torqued at 15 inch lbs, site came loose after about 50 rounds through a Ruger Mark IV. retorqued again, marked the nut position. Came loose again, nut did not move out of position, retouqued again & used lock tite. Came loose again. This kept happening several more times. Problem is the splined shaft screw keeps pulling in closer into the mount clamp every time you tighten it. I had the same thing happen the a set of Weaver rings. Cheap mounting materials. I will have to improve the mounting system myself for this site to operate properly and securely.

Poorly designed and even worse material.
I've bought many scopes, mounts, etc from opticsplanet, but this Weaver red dot is very poorly designed and if I had to guess, I received someone else's return. I followed the instructions to a T and cannot get the unit to adjust, the lock down Allen screws just spin and spin, regardless, spend a little more and get a device that is better designed and better built. Weaver will not be receiving any additional purchases from me.

Weaver Micro Red Dot sight
I recently to receipt of 3 Weaver Micro Dot sights. I can't speak for others but as far as I am concerned, if you are looking for a red dot sight for your firearm don't look any further. This is the best red dot sight for the money. It is small, it is bright, it stays on target with my 9 mm and 40 caliber hand guns. You can see the dot clearly in pitch darkness and it is user friendly, by being able to be adjustable for your shooting situation. I installed them on my handguns and a shotgun. I have tried many others and this is the best for the money without looking to spend $400.00 to $500.00. The battery life is great too!

Currently on my 22/45 lite Ruger bright enough for most conditions hold zero and shoots where your pointing can,t ask for more. Will try in on my turkey gun and all my other small bore hand guns. I,m sure it will perform. Bushnells always have for me
