The Pros are:
1. Solidly built.
2. Glass is very clear. Great optics.
3. Locking turret easy to use.
Cons:
1. No front & rear caps. Some cheaper Weaver scope have caps.
2. No sun shade! Important: If not prevent glare, then to prevent fingerprints. Think Weaver is getting cheap in this department.

PROS: Optics are great, focus ring is smooth like silk, & zoom power ring is tight enough to stay where it is adjusted. Pull up turret knob works flawlessly.
CONS: I AM DEFINITELY DISAPPOINTED w/ Weaver for not providing a sunshade. Their upper line of tactical scope at $700+, they should at least throw in a short sun shade if not to protect from glare, then to protect from fingerprints. NO! nothing additional in the box. This company I think is going down the cheap skate route. Their classic T-series in the $400+ price range gets a sunshade & caps.
By the way, Sightmark D50mm L105.5mm Sun Shade will fit this scope but a bit rough in the threads. See my review in Amazon.
Pros:
- High quality optics
- Smooth ring operation
Cons:
- No sun shade
- No front & rear caps
Best Used for:
- Target shooting under 100 yards
- varmit shooting

I have one of these. It is every bit as good as any with the same features. As to the supposed limitation of 55 MOA elevation, I use a 20 * picatinny rail. The so-called "problem" that really doesn't need much solving, is solved. 4x with a 5 times reach to 20x is fabulous for hunting from long meadows, across canyons and in the tree and thicket stuff. This is an outstanding scope.

Quality glass at a great price! 4-16 works great at 20x it's a little hazy but that's expected. Lines it up side by side with viper pst and its definitely a close call and to save some pennies you can't go wrong.
Pros: Clear, well built
Cons: None yet

Glass is great, even at 20 magnification. Turret clicks are obvious.
Travel is 55 MOA. I use Burris Pos Align inserts and zeroed at the bottom of travel. This gives pretty much all 55 MOAs to dial up. Additionally, I have another 5 MIL dots to hold. This way the scope reaches out farther than a .308 could (reliably).
Overall, very satisfied with it.
Pros: Great glass
Cons: No lens caps

After pricing other models, scope is good value for money. For the recreational shooter, this rig offers everything you need. IMO, unless your life truly depends on it or you are shooting competitions, the need for a $2000 scope is fairly minimal. Weaver has entered a new class with this glass. FFP Glass is clear and the FFP etching is fabulous. Have only used during prime daylight hours so can not comment on low light capabilities. Scope mounted on A/R platform .308 with Burris REPR QD mount. Fairly new to high power scopes but this one impresses after comparing to Nightforce and Leupold. Turrets lack the "positive lock down" feel but am confident that accidental clicks resulting in POI change would not be a problem. Highly recommend primarily based on features afforded vs price.
Pros: easy set up; clear glass;
Cons: Turrets are a bit mushy and loose.

Received this great gift from my family. Very nice glass, made in Japan. Turrets can be adjusted and re-zeroed with no tools. MOA on the turrets are right on. Glass is clear and bright even at 20x. Con: 55moa total elevation adjustment. Solved this problem by shimming my picatinny rail, good to go now. Great Scope
Pros: Great features for the money, First Focal Plane
Cons: No lens caps, no sunshade, 55 moa total elevation adjustment

Great scope- first focal plane, great Japanese ground glass.
*Use sunshade #849733 to fit all the 3-15 and 4-20 models. It is for the Super Slams but fits fine and is just slightly different matte finish. The new #800380 is the same 4-20x50 with the MIL spec turrets- New for 2012.
Pros: Superior optics

Mounted on my Rem. 700 LT/R .308 and like just as about as much as my Rem. 700P with Leupold mark 4 16x . Really good scope for money ! Bought the super slam sunshade and painted with testors flat black , pretty close match !
Pros: Very good glass , price , FFP , finish , quality construction.
Cons: no matching sunshade!
