Weaver Tactical Four Hole Rings - Picatinny Rail
Simple, rugged, easy to install, reasonably priced. I needed a set of durable rings to mount a compact Nikon scope on a 45-70 Marlin lever gun. These filled the bill nicely. Once locked down, they don't move, even with the heavy recoil of hard-kicking hot loads.
99515 is a picatinny ring and Does Not Fit Weaver rails

When I called RCBS they stated that Product #99515 is for a picatinny rail Only!!
optic planet needs to correct this listing on their web site since it misled me and others, "stating that it fits Weaver and Picatinny rails".

wrong size cross bolts and weaver reps don't know the difference
i ordered these 24 nov 2020. it is now 1-12-21 and i am still trying to get the correct cross bolts to assemble them.
the cross bolts that came packaged and the second set received by rcbs are for picatinny rings and don't fit these rings.
so, if you have this problem, be sure that you let rcbs know that you have tactical series rings and they need tactical cross bolts. tactical series fits both weaver and picatinny.
they seem to not be able to understand this, but i will say, due to covid you are talking with someone working from home.
low mounts are out of stock so i am trying my best to get the right cross bolts that fit these rings.
they just grab a package of parts and put them in the packaging and some how picatinny parts are coming with these rings.

Good set of rings
Good set of rings for the money nice and lightweight they are aluminum so I lapped them and they didn’t have toques spec so I 14 inch pounds overall they seem good so far 40 rounds of 308 at the moment we will see when it comes to my magnums ie 300 win mag

Item advertises fitting weaverstye picitinny rails however it did not fit the square b carry handle mount on ar rifle which is weaver style. Before purchasing rings i read reviews of other custoers with same problem but took a chance anyway. I lost! Had to return product

great rings
I love them very strong and look great and good price .it fit my Remington 700 the color same as my 700 to . The ring lock down good to they want move if you use a 7mag or 300.ill be using this rings in the future

Scope rings
Service from OpticsPlanet was great the Weaver Tactical Picatinny Four Hole Rings work great on my rifle . Very easy to mount scope in . I recommend them for for ease of mounting , looks , toughness. I put them on a 30 cal rifle went to the range shot several groups they stayed solid scope didn’t move

Muilti slot base
The Weaver Tactical Picatinny 30mm scope rings product #99516 does not fit the Weaver Multi slot base product # 48330. The cross bolt is larger than the rail slots. W.T F � � ��❗️Your decription says they will fit Weaver style bases.

Weaver Tactical Rings don't fit all Picatinny rails
Frustrated with something that was unknown to me about Weaver Tactical Rings is they don't fit all Picatinny rails.
The Tactical cross bolt is three sixteenths across the flats and the regular Weaver Picatinny rings are five thirty seconds across the cross bolt flats, no where that I see in the specifications is anything said about this difference. I don't have the so called Tactical Picatinney rail which I didn't know existed, so couldn't mount my scope rings. Will have to return/order more of the Regular Skeleton rings to mount my scope, so be aware all Picatinney rails are not the same.

Weaver 4 hole tactical picatinny rings
Rings were exactly as described - I had no trouble mounting my scope or mounting rings to rail. I have a model 700 Remington and I mounted a 6.5x20x50mm leupold using the low rings with plenty of clearence between the objective and the barrel. I did lap the rings.

Good enough
I just put these on my latest AR build and they worked out great. Easy to mount and stays where you put them. Precision machined and my scope is dead nuts and shooting 1/2 MOA at 100 yards and 200 yards. I first ordered the medium height, but with my DPMS Lo-Pro upper and 40mm objective scope, they were a little to short..Thanks to optics planet, I Easily returned them and ordered the high height and got a perfect fit! The sharp angles and large nuts make them look very "tactical" and right at home on an AR.
