This is exactly what you need. This takes care of every caliber and works wonderful. bright green laser, is a little expensive but this guy works!! and since I'm shooting 308 I will save this extra money spent on ammo alone.
Pros: works great, magnet is wonderful
Cons: expensive

Didn't work well for me.
Perhaps I got a bad one. The Wheeler laser bore sighter is very easy to use. Just attach it on the muzzle and adjust your scope's crosshairs to where you see the dot. Unfortunately, my laser was off quite a bit from the actual point of impact. I tried it on other rifles that were already sighted in ...

good laser sight
Quick and easy way to help sight scopes. Still will have to make a few adjustments but it helps to get you hitting paper right away.

most useful DIY bore sightings tool I’ve used
The Wheeler professional laser bore sighter is the easiest and most useful bore sighter that I’ve ever used. It easily attaches to the end of the rifle barrel, then I center the tool by eyeballing the OD of barrel to the OD of the tool. I bore sight against a white barn @ 70-100 yards distant with the green laser in lower light conditions that really makes the green dot stand out. I then simply immobilize the rifle and match the crosshairs to the green dot. I’ve had amazing luck with this system so far and I’m would imagine the red dot would work as well in low light conditions with the included reflective target

A Game Changer
Love the design and simplicity. No more searching for flimsy laser stick to scratch you barrels.

Limited application
This bore sighter is an option for non-bolt rifles where you can't look through the bore, if the end of your barrel assembly is steel, and in low light conditions. I am returning this bore sighter because it is not really visible in daylight as advertised - at least not beyond 8 or 10 yards, it is useless if your rifle has an aluminum timed muzzle brake that you really do not want to, or cannot, remove, and because all of my rifles are bolt action and it turns out that I can do just as well with the old look- through-the-bore technique. Now that my eye sight isn't as good as it once was, I was hoping this bore sighter would be more accurate and more versatile, but that just isn't the case for me.
Pros:
- An option for non-bolt rifles
- Green laser is more visible during the day
Cons:
- Not compatible with an aluminum muzzle brake
- Not really visible enough in mid-day light conditions
Best Used for:
- Non-bolt action rifles in low light

laser was “Way Off”
Tried this on my 22 recently and the dot was way off where it should have been. Maybe I got a bad laser, but this went into the cabinet and probably won’t see it again for a while.

wheeler laser bore sight
I would not use any other laser bore sight. Superior design and ease of use make this product my go to for sighting in my rifles.

Fast Sight-in Tool
So easy to use. Not meant to be super accurate, but gets you hitting the target paper and adjustment can be made from there. Watched a guy go through a lot of expensive ammo without ever hitting the paper. He sure could have used one of these.

Excellent bore sight
For a quick and dirty zero, this thing rules.
Just snap it onto the end of your barrel (no messy caliber sizes or probe to put inside).
It has a flat magnet on the back which aligns with your barrel (assuming its milled correctly) and fires off from there.
For getting close for the initial zero at 25 or 50 yards, its a decent tool.

laser Bore sight
Great item, it only attaches to metal. First thing I noticed many cans are not metal. It would be nice if you could purchase metal plates with 4” long bore tubes. It is a great product.
