New SG-1 Temples
These replace the original temples that came with the SG's in 2006. The fact that I'm only now needing new parts for these attests to the durability of the product. The old ones have literally been through fire and ice - US Desert SW and Arctic Canada for years. If you want glasses to protect your eyes in any environment these are the ones to get!
Great Upgrade To My 19 Year Old Wiley X's!
I still have the same Wiley X SG-1 ballistic sunglasses that I was issued in late 2003 when preparing to deploy to Iraq. I continued to use them in the field for the remaining 12 years I was in the Army and then began to use them for yard work. After nearly 19 years, they were in desperate need of an upgrade. The foam around the lenses had begun to break off and the rubber pads on the bottom of the temples had come off.
I ordered a replacement pair of Smoke Colored lenses and new temples. The temples snapped on easily and look great. They are comfortable on my ears. The lenses snapped in place and look just like the originals. Very happy with this purchase!

Wiley-X SG-1 Nose piece attachment
Have used it once since it has arrived, as that was the only opportunity I had to ride my motorcycle, and it worked great. I love the Wiley-X SG-1 goggles/glasses for my motorcycle riding, with the exception that the foam on the lenses can't be change and you have to get new lenses, but this is for the nose piece attachment. The Wiley-X SG-1 for me sit on my nose very awkward an cause pain, this nose piece attachment gets it off the bridge of my nose and they sit 100% better. It doesn't affect the way the goggles/glasses are supposed to operate and the wind is still blocked from my eyes very well.

Riding Goggles
I ordered some prescription riding goggles that were recommended from a friend. The quality and price of the goggles are excellant. While i was checking on the date i would receive them the customer service was excellant. The only problem that i have had with this order was i never received the carrying cases for the goggles.

SG-1 Nose Piece NP
Great attachment to the SG-1 frame and it allows useage by a greater proportion of people with differing facial features (nose bridge architecture). Very similar to the "Asian Fit" nose piece developed by Oakley for their market in Asia.

SG-1 Strap
I have always had trouble getting sunglasses to fit due to the shape of my nose. The strap holds them up and against my face so they don't slip down off my nose.

I like the modularity
I really like the fact that I can switch out the lenses in the Wiley-X glasses, and convert them to goggles with the rubber thingie around the side + strap, and back to sunglasses. If I want to add polarized lenses down the road, I can do that, too, and probably will.
I bought the main glasses, without accessories, on eBay, and then I'm getting accessories here on OpticsPlanet...more work than buying the whole package at once, but saves me a bit of money, and gave me the chance to try out the fit before spending more.

A must have addition
I was not really enjoying my SG-1's as they kept sliding down too far on my nose allowing the upper portion of the lense gasket to drop into my line of sight. This nose piece completely corrected the issue. It raises the frame just enough to perfectly align the lenses with my eyes. These should be a standard feature on new SG-1's!

SG-1 replacement Gaskets
I ordered these so I would have a gasket set w/o the foam for warm weather motorcycle riding. I easly removed the foam w/ hot soapy water and a fingernail. I really like the additional air flow in our hot, humid climate.
