Most Helpful Positive Review See It, Feel It, Become One with your Optic.
I recently purchased this awesome optic sight ie (Dec.2024) I'll start by saying what an incredible idea & quite unique piece of gear this is. It's now one of my favorites & perfect for my application & use. I placed it on a Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical Shot Gun & they are matched perfectly. I definitely recommend this product & if you're in the market or planning to build a specific project check this sight out you won't be disappointed.

Non Adjustable Reticle

by Scooter, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on November 20, 2025
The dot sits about a 1/2” above the bead on my shotgun barrel. The reticle is not adjustable. It will do but there are better options by Vortex

They saved me a good amount of money. Very fast delivery, great tracking #. Nice Optic also. Haven’t mounted as of yet. But for the money , it’s impossible to beat for what you’re getting. Putting this on my Panzer M4 shotgun. Note : they are not for pistols .

With a few tweaks, it could be perfect...

by Alan C., Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on August 5, 2025
In an era where many manufacturers are finding clever ways to raise optics (for understandable reasons), it's refreshing to see Williams produce a very low-mount optic. The low mount helps ensure a solid cheek weld on shotguns and many other firearms (this is a promising optic for Kalashnikov-pattern weapons, for instance).

The innovative approach to this optic's design is greatly appreciated. The build quality appears to be solid. The reticle is crisp. The price is exceptional. To improve the optic, I recommend the following:

-Clearer glass (there is a noticeable tint)
-A mount to attach the optic directly to a shotgun should be included
-A shake awake feature would make the optic better suited for defense applications

This is already a very good optic that fills an important and overlooked niche in the market. If Williams can pack a few additional features in for $300, the Gun Sight would be a game-changer.

Excellent Turkey sight

by Mictanker, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on June 22, 2025
This thing rocks! I replaced a Vortex Sparc AR on my turkey gun. This sight is nearly an inch lower bringing your head back to a natural sock weld. Held its zero all season through 10 shots(including zero).
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Could use a little more brightness adjustability-- but it's fine as is.

Amazing Low Profile Shotgun Sight

by Matt, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on December 23, 2024
This is an amazing sight. Small, light and sleek on my Mossberg 500. I was looking for a red dot for turkey hunting. I tried a Vortex Spitfire, Monstrum Raven and a Truglo Gobble Stopper. The Vortex and Monstrum, while good sights, all sat to high and would require a raised cheek rest. Plus they were heavy. The Gobble Stopper was a contender and fantastic in all respects other than it too would require a raised cheek rest. I wanted the Gobble Stopper to be the one but when the Williams LRS came and I installed it. I knew that it was the one. I mounted it on the Williams adapter for my shotgun and it sits perfect. No cheek rest needed. I get a great weld. The segmented circle dot is spot on for turkey hunting. This sight is a little more expensive than some but not as expensive as others. Do a google search on the Williams LRS and find videos. You will not be disappointed.
Pros:
  • Low profile
  • Adjustable brightness
  • Light weight
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Shotgun
  • Turkey hunting

Mounted to a REM 7600

by Dan Trimpey, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on November 12, 2024
I was looking for a red dot to make fast sight acquisition with a Remington 7600 in 308. I want a rifle that would push 100 to 150 meters and decided on the Williams lrs. I couldn’t be any happier with the purchase. The price was great and the quality is up to par with others that are double the price. Puts your eye closer to the bore than any other red dot on the market.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Quality
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • shotguns
  • remington 7600
