It’s well made but it only has one guide for drilling with the #31 or #28. It costs $167 delivered to my business (I’m a professional gunsmith) you would think for that price they could have included enough guides for all 4 bars since they included lock down screws for each bar but only one guide. The #31 utilizes the #28 guide for the actual tap to stay aligned properly but nothing for the larger size. Charge me a few dollars more and give me everything I need but it’s kind of ridiculous that you only get one guide for each drill needed. The other complaint I’ve got with it is when lining up to drill holes for the Mossberg 500 is only 3 holes lined up which left me needing to move jig to drill the last hole. It’s a good tool but it could definitely use some improvement to make it easier to use. I got the job done, however it took extra time and patience to find the exact center not once but twice instead. Instructions were minimal at best, so make sure you have a good caliper if you expect good results in return with this tool.

I tapped and drilled an 1187 despite recomendations not to.

This tool is as advertised and seems to be well made and engineered. I would have given 5 stars if extra drill/tap guide bushings would have been supplied for the various size receiver base screws that would be encountered from different manufacturers such as metric sizes in foreign made manufacturers

Works great for many aplications. Lines up top dead center if you do your part correctly.

100% works as it should easy to use, get yourself one. Don't be fooled by the free shipping unless you have 11 days to wait. Drop shipped by DHL. I had part of my order in 3 days, 2 weeks wait for this item. No notice of this was given, and the tracking number was inconclusive. OpticsPlanet is the worst on customer service notifications and were no help until I called for the 5th time.

Bought this as a supplement to my forester sight jig. Works great on older shotgun receivers!

I ordered this product back in March 2023. It was out of stock but Optics Planet said they would contact me when it becomes available. They kept their word and I received an email in October (6 months later) that it was available and was I still interested. Of course I said yes and they shipped it. The fixture allows you to carefully center the spot on a barrell or receiver perfectly. NO ERRORS. As a Gunsmith working on someone's prized rifle or shotgun, when you drill you only have 1 - shot to get it right. This fixture gives you the confidence to make the hole.

Works great, good value compared to other jigs on market. Used on Mauser and Japan 99 Arisaka.
Make sure you also get the tap and drill kit. 31# drill bit and 6-48 tap's are hard to find.
