Wilson Combat 1911 10 rounds mag
Excellent magazine. I have no issue firing this magazine with my Springfield Full Rail TRP 1911. No problem feeding the ammunition. I hope this will help other customer to choose. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a 10 rounds mag for their 1911.
Feeding Failures During Speed Reloads
I purchased three of these stainless steel 10-round magazines (PN 47-45FS10) from OpticsPlanet for my TRP Operator Full Rail. After fewer than 500 rounds, I began experiencing consistent feeding failures.
During speed or combat reloads — when inserting the magazine into the magwell with force from slide lock — the slide fails to feed a round from the magazine and chamber it. This issue happens across all three stainless mags.
What’s especially frustrating is that my factory Springfield Armory magazines have run flawlessly under the same conditions, with zero malfunctions. These Wilson Combat mags were supposed to be an upgrade, but they’ve proven less reliable. Very disappointing performance for the price and brand reputation.

Worked flawlessly. I have used other 10 round magazines for my 1911, this is the first one that out of the boxed didn’t have a feeding issue.

Dependable and Great Quality
Bought two of these to use with my Taurus PT1911 and RIA 1911. They are very well built and have performed flawlessly and consistently with well over 200 rounds at this point. Also tried them with some Ruger and Colt 1911s and they appear to seat and function as well.
I probably trust these more than my factory mags to be honest, and the added capacity is a big plus.
