Wilson Combat extended thumb safety...
An outstanding product. Like all 1911 safeties it had to be fitted but that's the norm...the nature of the beast. It looks and works great.

Not a drop in part
This didn't work for my 1911.I have a Colt classic 1911 and the safety sucks.Bought this to improve the safety but it requires way to much work.I filed this one down to try to make it work to no avail.If you can make this work it would be a great safety with the longer lever.

Gunsmithing required
I bought this to fix an issue with a 1911 Commander. The original safety would allow the hammer to move about a quarter inch with the safety engaged. Since I was putting this in a custom frame, a little fitting was necessary. Take your time and go slowly when sanding/filing the safety catch.
