WC ring hammer
I purchased this item for my SS 5” government model and unfortunately it was Not working like DROP IN parts!!!!!! It was required professional gunsmith to recut sear hooks or I was pushed to buy EGW shortened .005 Springfield hard sear and EGW ball head disconnect to make it work! Try it install to my Springfield 4.25 and this hammer is working! So you may be lucky but Wilson Combat saying in description it is for professional gunsmith fit!!

Top quality retro-1911 hammer...
This Wilson retro-1911 hammer is a great piece...better than many more modern designs. When this classic Commander look is what you need this fills the bill. It fits with no filing necessary and looks fantastic.

Wilson Combat Retro hammer...
I'm building a retro Commander and this hammer from Wilson Combat fits it perfectly. It has the appearance I'm looking for as well as the quality...plus the look of some more "modern" hammer designs leave me cold. The fit was perfect with no issues. It's a fine product.

It isn't blued
This is a stainless hammer with painted areas as 'blued.' Bit frustrating wanted to blue the faces only to find out that it wouldn't take. The profile is rounded and pleasant. I enjoy the no snag nature and uses it for ccw.
