Nice Hand Guard
Fits well on to WC receiver, looks good, no apparent defects. The only complaint is that WC does not supply a wrench, unlike other manufacturers who do provide a wrench with their hand guard. So, add the cost of a WC wrench to the total cost of the hand guard.

Was not the same as the picture description. The screw sets were below the picture. The screws aren’t flat so it’s exposed. Still lightweight and it does the job as intended. But when you buy something you want it to be as it shows as the description
Wilson Hanguard
Fit and finish as expected from WC. I have a ported (top and sides) compensator and the 15in hand-guard stops right at the ports so works for my setup.

Bought this handguard to go with my Wilson barrel. As with other reviews I found 'slipping' handguard over barrel nut next impossible without using force. I gave up quickly because I did not wish to damage handguard. Also it would have been very difficult to line up upper picatinny rails with handguard. Finally, the finish was very thin. In fact, it was rubbed bare in high spots out of package.
With all this and no information about barrel nut size and having to purchase armorer's wrench separately I decided to return handguard. I purchased another handguard kit that came with armorer's wrench and is easier to fit over barrel nut.

Favorite Handguard
The Wilson Combat M-Lok Handguards are my personal favorite.
They're smooth along the sides, and do not rough up your hands when not using gloves.
I also like the way they attach to the barrel nut and not rely on a clamping force to keep it steady.

Average rail with a number of quirks
I chose this rail to round out a custom wilson combat build. What I am about to say is coming from frustration and may be that I'm used to the higher end rails, but to not include a barrel nut wrench attachment is uncalled for these days. Especially if your rail design do not include anti rotation tabs. I guess the barrel nut is supposed to be tightened down with a wrench but that makes it difficult to get the correct torque. Thethe spacing on the wrench flats is kind thin for the size of wrench that's needed.

- It was the price, but you get what you pay for

- a plinker, nothing that will get heavy use.

I would give this 5 stars but the pic rail in the hand guard has a gap between the Upper pic rail. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

Decent hand guard for a Wilson Combat build
Pro's: 12" length, seven sides of MLOK, engraved "Wilson Combat" for aesthetic flair, simple barrel nut design, not expensive Con's: Minor blemish on anodized finish (suspected to be Wilson Combat's fault, not Optic Planet's).
Best Used for:
- Tight grippin' and rippin' rounds.

Wilson handguard
The fit and finish was perfect for the sons del ton so much I’m planning on another for my ruger .. the smooth grip and still having ability to mount on 15 inches was the right choice for us

- No sharp edges of a quad rail to get hung up on anything.. lots of room to mount accessories .. nice clean fit

I love Wilson combat! My favorite looking brand, and the most consistent performance out of any brand I have tried so far. And I’ve been doing this for exclusively for 10 years now?… something like that… lol anyways buy it you won’t regret!
