Before .277 Fury takes over production at Lake City Ammo, make sure that 556 is on your short list to stock up on. Especially if Nato without the US is around the corner... :)

My Go To Greenpoint

This 5.56 Win 62 grain M855 greenpoint is a NATO standard for its light armor piercing (LAP) performance. I load all my 30 round mags with it in this triple shot sequence: 55 grain BT + 55 grain BT + 62 grain LAP, an SD firing configuration that I have found ranges best up to 250 yards. Manufactured with top quality components, these made-in-America Winchester rounds discharge flawlessly, consistenly, and accurately without incident. That's why this greentip ammo is used as my standard "go to" for defensive purposes.
