Shopfox planer blade sharpener
All the local sharpening places have closed and tired having to ship and wait for blades to be sharpened. You have to consider how much the unit cost for 250$ it works well. It is not a 2000$ sharpener. It is Chinese made so casting and accuracy reflects that. Use a old set of Nives first to learn and adjust. By the second set I produced a very sharp uniform edge. Used on a powermatic 180 18” planer and haven’t had any problems. Used to cost me $80 to sharpen with shipping so should pay for itself soon.

Quality boat anchor . Sharpener not so much !!!
Terrible design . Had the first one replaced second one is no better, impossible to maintain a consistent angle with a single post design . Don't take my word for it ask the the other 500000 unhappy customers that bought a new combo door stop-boat anchor !!!!!!!
