Most Helpful Positive Review Very cool and very customizeable
So this was the final choice for my most recent build. And I really do like its ability and customization. However there are a few things you should know. First this is NOT like your standard everyday buffer tube. It will not fit your brand new magpul armors wrench because the tube diameter is thicker than that particular wrench will allow. However, it will fit an open end castle nut type wrench. I used a Geissele Super 42, Braided Wire Buffer & Spring Combo for the new tube and it works perfectly. Great stock

Great lightweight stock, more adjustability than any stock on the market and very solid. Once you get this set it doesn't move. Also if your putting this on a side charger you can get a different cheek rest from XLR and be able to get closer to the optic due to no charging handle issues.

Good design but...

The adjustability is great. I had to take set screws completely out of cheek riser to raise it because the machining had the screws tight up against the edge of slots so it wouldn't slide at all. I couldn't get one of the screws back in ...im going to be filing the slot back some which I havent done yet. Once I figure out a permanent position I'll file it at the screw position only. Besides that..seems very solid and comfortable.

  • Looks good. Not too heavy. Extremely adjustable to fit anyones needs

Xlr tac ar stock

Wanted something different besides an a2. Wasnt sure if there was long enough lop but theres plenty. I use an a2 with 1-1/2 inch spacer and this stock exceeds that with comfort. I would buy again. Worth it
