I bought the Same Plane Rear Sight for my retro AR with a carry handle upper receiver. This sight works great. It is much better than either the A1 or the A2 sights. I really like being able to flip between the large aperture and small aperture, without having my zero changed. I would buy more of these for my flip-up backup sights on my other ARs if they didn't cost so much. But for my primary sight on my retro AR, the cost was definitely worth it. Maybe not so much for just a flip-up backup sight though.

I was having a difficult time focusing on my front sight post in most situations but especially at indoor ranges. I was looking for an upgrade without having to go the optics route as I prefer open sights. I have had XS products in the past and was very happy so I figured the front Stripe Sight was worth a shot. I could not be more please. The product is very well made, and has completely fixed the old fuzzy post issue. I can easily focus on the white stripe when the target is dark and can see the silhouette of the post when sighting in on bright backgrounds. The sight works in all situations and has improved my groupings as I can actually focus on the post now. My only concern was the lack of a fine adjustment as you can only adjust the sight in 180 turns. This turned out to be an non issue as I was able to get sighted in at 50 yards with zero issues. I'd say this product is a must have for open sight AR shooters.
