This is a very stoutly made grip. To the point I think it is a bit of overkill. It does hold 2 CR123 batteries firmly with zero play or noise. The grip texture is very pronounced and a bit sharp. If you are not wearing gloves and grip this thing firmly it will cause hotspots and pain, especially after extended use. It is comfortable if you are wearing gloves, but bear hand this grip for a couple patrols and you are going to feel it tomorrow. It is also the heaviest grip I have ever used. It is built like a tank but on the flip side the weight is a issue. If you plan on using a grip to place on barricades or use it as a monopod then this could be the grip for you as it is heavy duty. Overall this is a well made grip but the knurling is just to much for bare handed use for an extended period. It does tighten down nicely and there is no play or wiggle.
