If you're like me, when you're considering upgrading or spec-ing out your new rifle, every piece and component needs to be top notch, high quality, and confidence instilling. When Uncle Donny calls me to help defend our democracy against Kim, I don't want to have to tell him that I can't go because my gas block/A-post sucks because I cheeped out. Well made, stout machining, cleanly finished. Flip up feature is great for getting the front sight out of your scope picture, but easily flips back up for cqc/transport. Two piece design is great for mounting to a barrel with a welded muzzle device.

I am quite impressed with YHM! Pair this up with their TJ call series carbine handguard and you get a very clean setup. You can tell that they really spent time with this combination. It’s too bad the handguard has been discontinued. It’s still a excellent product on its own.

Quality flip sight and gas block combination.
This is possibly the best minimalists flip sight and gas block combination. Easy to install and functions very well and looks great too. A bit on the pricy side but well worth the cost. After installation I found the sights to be nearly zeroed at 50 yards.

Nice Combo
I was looking for an AR front sight that stood alone (i.e. not clamped to a gas block), but was also foldable, having a few of the fixed type already. This seemed to fit the bill at a reasonable cost. Installation was easy, it's well made, very little wobble (not that it is meant for match shooting anyway), and it's held up for probably 500 rounds so far. My first shots were right on the bullseye, which is a rarity for a new sight. I did take off the sling swivel to clear the forearm I'm using, and plan on adding a set screw to that bottom block, but this sight has shown no signs of movement, so that's not a priority at this point. The sight tower deploys easily, stays put, and is unobtrusive when folded. This was exactly what I wanted.

Excellent choice for building out standard hand guards
Picked this up to complete a project where I wanted standard-type hand guards, but not using a railed gas block or front post sight. Mounted without issue on a KAK 11" 7.62x39 barrel and ran just fine. The sight portion works well in both actuation and in use as a front sight. Very similar to the YHM BUIS set that I use on other uppers. I will definitely be using this block (or one of the several variants made by YHM) again in the future.
Note: You will need a long gas journal on your barrel to use this style of block. If you have a barrel with a short gas journal (1" or so) it will be too short.

Yankee hill gas block flip up iron sight
If you are looking for a gas block flip up iron sight this is the way to go it's sold as a rock and is well built I couldn't be happier, I have it paired with a matech buis and it is the best back up iron sights I've ever had

Built like a tank...
Have one of these on an AR I built myself. Great item. Stays up; stays down. Positive clicks lock it in place; no foolin' around. Getting this one to put on an AR with the fixed A-frame front sight; hate that thing stickin' up like it does. Hoping this matches the height of the M4 clamp-on carrying handle, or I'll have a "spare" for my parts box with no rifle on which to attach it...

Great product! High quality! Easy install! Would definitely recommend YHM! Optics planet shipped fast and had a great price! Replaced the A2 on my Colt 6920 ... Look great .... Works great! No longer have the front sight blur in my optics.

AR 15 Builder
This gas block and sight is excellent, light weight, easy to install and accurate when sighted in (which was also easily done). I have built 5 AR 15 still rifles I have put this sight on four of them along with the YHM Rear Sight. Great combination.

Outstanding gas block/ flip up front sight.
The YHM-9394 is fantastic. It's well built, easy to mount, and stays in place. When the sight is flipped up there is zero movement or play. It's very sturdy and co-witnessing was easy with my rear back up sights. Another plus is that it clamps so once you have it on there is no need to remove the hider to make adjustments. When folded down, it's completely out of the way allowing for full sight picture through my eotech. Also, it fits perfect for magpul furniture sets. Highly recommend.
