I selected this item for purchase as component of an AR-pistol build that is underway. It is exactly what I wanted- a low profile, lightweight, key-mod install to ensure my hand remains safely behind the hand-stop due to the shorter barrel of a pistol. AR-pistols have greater restrictions for handguard attachments such as I typically use on my rifles. This item works well, and does not break the bank!
great stuff, probably the best hand stop slash barricade rest
Yhm makes amazing stuff thats affordable, well thought out and just works right. I love this handstop. It has qd holes on both sides, it has a loop hole on the bottom, it uses good mlok hardware and is both a handstop and barricade rest. Lights, quality metal, looks minimal and doesn't look tacky like some other brands. Yhm is the best best best best stuff.

Worth every penny
Installed on a 8 inch handguard . Keeps your hand away from the muzzle plus it has QD attachment points on either side . This was huge because I didn’t want to sacrifice rail space for a QD point . There’s barricade grabbing teeth on the front of the hand stop too .

Hand Stop on Sig MPX-K
Fairly quick delivery form Optics Planet. Easy and solid installation on my Sig MPX-K. The construction and finish are excellent. Keeps my hand from sliding too far forward on the very short hand guard. Very comfortable to shoot with.

This is my first Keymod or Ar accessory.
I have only installed on my hand guard so far and not had a chance to assess it in action.
My first impression is “I like it”, the reason I went with this hand stop over other options is that it combined two of the accessories I was thinking of getting into one part.
I am not sure if I am going with a two point or single point sling and I liked that I could get this and in addition to my the rear receiver QD sling point and go with either.
It comes with a torx key for installing.
