Got this for a AR15/AR9 custom build with a 16 inch barrel. It did significantly reduce the recoil, but offset with a bit more noise.

Pros:

Recoil and rise virtually eliminated

Cons:

loud and substantial muzzle blast

Best Used for:

Custom Build
