Most Helpful Positive Review For the right purpose, this is perfect
If you want a sight for rimfire plinking, I am convinced that this is the single best red dot on the market, for price, fast target aquisition, reticle choices, brightness, cheap batteries, light weight, etc. I am extremely happy with mine and have fired hundreds (if not thousands) of rounds throug...

Most Helpful Negative Review Unusable
This model is supposed to have a locking screw to lock down your zero after adjusting windage and elevation. Sightmark website shows it as a feature on this model. Opticsplanet include the "locking wrench" but conveniently leave this feature out on the description, even though it is supposed to have...

Decent for the price.

My first thoughts were that this thing was a well built red dot but after further inspection the laser isnt projecting properly and is at a slight angle. Maybe mine was just defective? For the price, i say its decent.

You get what you pay for and in this case that's a good thing!

by Robert, from TN, United States Written on August 24, 2020
Im not a serious "high end" shooter. But I enjoy getting the most out of what I have. I purchased this after doing a little research and noticed that most users of this item were pretty satisfied and . . . it was on sale so what the heck. I wasn't expecting a whole lot but was very pleasantly surprised with everything about it. Well made various options that allow you to tailor it to your liking. Money well spent I think

  • Budget minded shooters

Beware of buying "DEMO" sights

by mpkid5, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on June 9, 2020
I bought this sight labeled as a "DEMO" for $20. I couldn't pass up that deal so I got it. shipping was quick, and it was in mint condition when it arrived. After a few months of sitting in it's box with ZERO use or mounting because of this rona mess closing all the ranges, once they reopened I tried it out on a 9mm Scorpion Evo......The lens of the optic fell out after the first shot. I looked at the edge of the lens and the interior of the frame and saw there was barely any glue residue if any at all. When I was purchasing this product it specifically said that "DEMO" products were opened, but UNUSED, and only used for display purposes. It never said anything about them being completely broken or unusable. This is why I gave the DEMO version 1 star. I still recommend Sight Mark products because I have another model that I have used for years with zero issues and know it's a good quality brand. I cannot return or replace this on Optics Planet because the 30 day return police is long gone (I couldn't use it until ranges reopened), but I will try to contact Sight Mark support and see if they can do anything about it. Worst case I can find some kind of glue or sealant to get that lens back in there and keep it there, at the cost of my own dime...
Pros:
  • good brand
Cons:
  • Demo item was defective
Best Used for:
  • shotguns
  • Carbines
  • PDWs

Very Satisfied

by James, from MS, United States Written on February 10, 2020
I purchased 2 of these for some low cost builds. The fit on the rail was tight and so far they have adjusted and performed as good as my more expensive reflex sights. I have had them only a short time but I have had no indication that they will not continue to be satisfactory.

Nice Red Dot

by Darcy, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on January 10, 2020
Wasn't really in the market for another Red Dot, but saw this demo for sale for $21.99 and couldn't pass it up. Arrived in good shape and was packaged like a new product. Got it out of the package and noticed it had a Weaver dove tail mount. This won't mount to my Savage 64F, which is where I was going to mount it. I searched the details before ordering and had a hard time determining if this had a 11mm dove tail or a 20mm. Couldn't find anything and then noted in one of the purchaser comments that he had received a sight with the 11mm mount so figured that they all had this mount. Unfortunately not. I went back after receiving the Red Dot and re-read the details, which now stated clearly that is was a 20mm mount. My bad, but I really don't think that detail was there before.

No worries. I'll just have to find an adapter and then will be able to use it.

Optics are clear and the reticle is easy to see even in bright sunlight. Nice having the ability to change between reticles too.
Pros:
  • Inexpensive but well built
Cons:
  • None
