Most Helpful Positive Review Yukon Twilight DNV
Slender build with quality parts. Very accurate after making normal adjustments. Pros: Good quality and size
Most Helpful Negative Review Disappointed
A friend of mine had a $100 unit that I used back in 2005. It was two or three times the machine that this is, albeit a bit bulkier. I will mount an independent IR light with this one and see how much that helps. What this WILL NOT change is the fact that the FOV is small and to focus requires ...

Not as impressed as I had hoped

by Robdog, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on December 14, 2015
I purchased this after trying a gen-1 monocular and was hoping for better performance. I have a photon night vision scope and love it. I was hoping for the same results being the same brand. The biggest problem is the IR illuminator. In total darkness I would say it is good to about 50 yards. I was hoping for performance, similar to my scope but it is far from it. The eye piece is loose and it moves slightly every time you put it up to your eye. This would not be a problem if the focus adjustment was not so sensitive, but the tiniest move you must re-focus it. The adjustment on top was a good idea for adjusting the brightness but you have to use two fingers to adjust it. If you try to adjust it with one finger it get out of balance and binds even when you try to be as gentle as possible. The optics were good and it seems like good quality but the performance was lacking.

Russian or Red Chinese Made???

by Legacy Reviewer, from MS, United States Written on January 7, 2011
Went to Yukon optics website AFTER ordering. Nice pictures of American flag and Rocky Mountains in the background...they probably should have had apple pie, as well...

This product is not listed on their website...red flag (literally, as it turns out). The President is Russian, contact info is via another website, which is an international corporation (according to other sources) that import their NV products from Russia or the good ole People's Republic of China. I ordered this thing without doing my homework, and will return it upon receipt.
Pros: None that I am aware of
Cons: Russian or Chinese Made
